Casablanca Valley & Valparaíso Port
Travel from Santiago, visiting beautiful wineries and tasting the most delicious wines in each of the wine valleys along the route. You will also enjoy great views of the Andes, beautiful scenery, and regional cuisine, while visiting local villages close to Santiago.
Day 1: Casablanca Valley
The Casablanca Valley is famous for its premium white wines and cool climate red including Pinot Noir.
Meet your guide and drive 1 hour passing Curacaví – The first stop will be Loma Larga Winery, an exclusive family winery that makes fine wines cold climate reds, it is located in a typical Chilean hacienda. Enjoy a private visit and premium wine tasting – Lunch at local gourmet restaurant – Continue to Kinstong Family Vineyards where you will taste one of the best Sauving Blanc and Pinot Noir from Chile. We head next for Valparaiso Port, one of South America’s oldest port cities – Check in and evening at leisure to enjoy the Hotel facilities; Spa, restaurant or Valparaiso’s beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean – Overnight at Casa Higueras Hotel in Valparaiso ( L)
Day 2: Valparaiso Port
After breakfast and check out, explore Valparaiso Port, world heritage site, old main seaport of the country, located on 32 hills surrounding the bay. In the past it was the most important trading center of the country until 1930 – City tour around Valparaiso, discovering its historic sites and charming hillside “elevators” – Lunch on your own and depart to Santiago (B)

WINE EXPERT GUIDE AND TRIP PLANNER
Karen Gilchrist is a graduate of the School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences of the Sorbonne University in Paris and the holder of diplomas in wine tasting, tourism and marketing from the London Chamber of Commerce and the British Industry Examinations Board, accomplishments during her eight years of residence in Europe. Her experience in connection with wine routes include in USA (California, Oregon, Long Island), France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Australia, South Africa, Canada, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile.
Karen organized Chile’s first ever Carmenere event, which was attended by the national and international press. In addition to guiding she is also a wine tourism consultant in Chile and abroad.

Visas
If you are a US or European citizen, a visa is not required to enter Chile. Please remember to keep the tourist card that will be given to you at immigration upon arrival, you will need it to leave the country. Citizens of other countries, check with your Embassy or Consular office for further information.
