Day 1: Uco Valley
Uco Valley has both altitude and attitude and is certainly one of the most interesting and stunning areas in the Mendoza region. Situated in the foothills of the Andes, this new frontier in Argentine wine-making is attracting winemakers from all over the world. State of the art technology and gold medal terroir means the wine from this area is the future of Argentine wine.
Meet Karen at Mendoza airport and drive South about 1,5 hour to Uco Valley – Welcome gourmet lunch – After lunch, we will go over the trip itinerary – Check in at the Vines Resort & Spa Hotel – Evening at leisure and dinner on your own at renowned Argentine Chef Francis Mallmann restaurant “ Siete Fuegos” – Overnight at the Vines Resort & Spa (L)
Day 2: Uco Valley
After breakfast, depart for winery visits in Uco Valley – Our first stop will be at Clos de los Siete winery, a world-class emblem of acknowledged international success. An unprecedented challenge and a unique, novel concept: 850 hectares (2,100 acres) of vines at the foot of the Andes Mountains, in the Uco Valley. Four bodegas run by 4 passionate Bordeaux families. 1 single wine named “Clos de los Siete”, blended by Michel Rolland, the originator of the project – Gourmet lunch at Andeluna winery restaurant – Visit Corazon del Sol winery, this a small winery focus in premium Malbec and Granache, as well as Cabernet Franc fantastic wines – Syrah, and Mourvedre, his famed winemaker Santiago Achaval crafts a fantastic wines – Dinner on your own at the Hotel – Overnight at the Vines Resort & Spa (B, L)
Day 3: Uco Valley & Lujan de Cuyo (Agrelo)
After breakfast and check out, depart from the Vines Resort & Spa – Continue to Pulenta Estate winery; located in Alto Agrelo on the road into the valley, this winery is a small and modern stylish operation. Here we will try one of Mendoza’s finest Cabernet Francs – Lunch is at Dominio del Plata, a young winery owned by Susana Balbo, the most famous female winemaker and consultant of Argentina, also a pioneer in exporting to USA and Brazil (Argentina´s biggest markets). Lunch consists of five steps of regional cuisine, paired with five of their premium wines – Next we go to Bodega Bressia, the concept of a family winery has always been present among the emblematic Argentinean winemakers who created the fantastic Bressia icon wines – Arrival at Finca Adalgisa, a small Hotel & Winery located 15 minutes from Mendoza – In the afternoon, we will have an informal introduction to the Argentina wine regions – Overnight at Finca Adalgisa Hotel & Winery (B, L)
Day 4: Lujan de Cuyo
The Lujan de Cuyo is the premier wine growing region in Argentina and where the most famous wineries are located. It’s the first choice when choosing a wine area to tour in Argentina.
After breakfast, depart to Lujan de Cuyo, which is about 30 minutes south of Mendoza City – First we take you to one of Mendoza’s most quaint and old style wineries; Bodega Benegas Lynch, an old historical winery making excellent Cabernet Franc from 80-year old vines. This adobe built structure is not just an excellent boutique winery but also historically significant as the owners once owned bodega Trapiche and are credited with bringing the first French grapes to Argentina. After the tasting of their top wine, Meritage – Continue to Bodega Cataza Zapata, the family winery of revolutionary Argentine vintner Nicolas Catena, Bodega Catena Zapata is widely recognized as the pioneering winery which has shown the international wine community the true quality potential of the Mendoza terroir – Gourmet lunch at Bodega Ruca Malen – Overnight at Finca Adalgisa Hotel & Winery and evening at leisure (B, L)
Day 5: Cooking Lesson
10:00 am Check out and breakfast, depart for the Argentina cooking experience, you will learn with your Chef how to prepare traditional recipes and then taste them in the restaurant, paired with their premium – Lunch – Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the Hotel facilities or personal activities – Overnight at Finca Adalgisa Hotel & Winery (B, L)
Day 6: Mendoza / End of the Trip
After breakfast & check out, transfer to Mendoza airport (B)

YOUR TRIP PLANNER AND WINE EXPERT GUIDE
Karen Gilchrist is a graduate of the School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences of the Sorbonne University in Paris and the holder of diplomas in wine tasting, tourism and marketing from the London Chamber of Commerce and the British Industry Examinations Board, accomplishments during her eight years of residence in Europe. Her experience in connection with wine routes include in USA (California, Oregon, Long Island), France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Australia, South Africa, Canada, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile.
Karen organized Chile’s first ever Carmenere event, which was attended by the national and international press. In addition to guiding she is also a consultant in wine tourism (Chile and Abroad).
